The Posthuman Por(o)rtrait(s) Collection has developed out of a 16 year pursuit of radical aesthetic developments toward new directions in figurative abstraction. Each work is a visual interpretation of the philosophical, moral, psychological, emotional, spiritual, and ethical proposition of a future moment when humans upload their Mind/Self/Soul into the Metaverse. Every work began as oxidation painting on metal or traditional black paint/ink drawings on polystyrene with palette knife; then moved into photoshop where root drawings are are painted digitally by erasure of white space to reveal the abstract color and textual palate of my metal art abstraction from 2006-2014; then each work is engaged graphically with digital paint brush to embolden linear ideas; then each work is layered over in photoshop with combinations of physics math formulas and linear geometries before; then each work is rerendered by Ai trained on 15 years my figurative abstract portfolio; and the current last phase of aesthetic development—the rendered (posthuman) Po(o)rtrait is again painted into by erasure regaining metal driven atmospherics.
