Brenda Vega was born in the city of Hermosillo, Sonora in the year 1977.  She lives and creates between Hermosillo and San Carlos, Sonora, surrounded by sun, sea, and the most spectacular landscapes that her state offers her. It is not intimidated by changes, contentless artwork, or predetermined ideas.Brenda is a young painter who, 4 years ago, was operated on and diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, however, that does not limit the precision of her strokes, sometimes loose, other times not so much, she says. She shares her concerns, her disappointments, the pain, her dreams and experiences through color and her pleasure in painting.She has had the opportunity to exhibit, and show her work in different places, such as Hermosillo, San Carlos, Tijuana, and Miami, among others.  She does not agree very much with contests, she prefers calls or invitations to work with groups, at this moment she participates in 2 projects with groups of emerging artists. She mentions, "It is important to promote art as a therapy, especially in these times we are living.  We were all born to create, in one way or another."She comments: "To me, the Art made me free, and it's a feeling you can't pay for with anything." She hopes to continue creating, although she started a career just a few years ago, she has more than 250 works that include materials such as acrylic, oil, and watercolor, combining different techniques.
