Houston native, Anna Hazel, has been creating art since a young age. She nurtured her inner artist with private art lessons, and in the International Baccalaureate Program at Lamar High School, during which time she sold her first paintings. From 2006 to 2007, Anna studied at Glassell School of Art, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. She continued her art education at Austin Community College in Austin, Texas, with printmaking and darkroom photography as her focus. During this time, Anna participated in two student art shows, as well as the famed Steamroller Press Day hosted by the University of Texas. Anna is currently making a comeback to the Houston art scene as a pet portrait artist, working in acrylics and mixed media. She has had numerous commissions and satisfied patrons.
